International cooperation initiatives

The development of international cooperation initiatives is a firm way of sharing our outstanding universal value with other properties around the world. In 2014, programs were launched with China, South Africa and New Zealand, based on the shared concept of “exceptional terroirs”.

February 18th, 19th & 20th 2015: an international conference on agricultural economies

Based on the same concept of exceptional terroirs, the Climats site represents an “agro-cultural” model, which has been recognized and shared by several countries with dynamic agricultural economies. This development method, which supports agro-cultural heritage, provides a solution to protect against the threats of standardization and loss of identity. This conference will shed light on the heritage complexity of these economies, and on the range of benefits which can be associated with them.
